How to become a real Spider-Man

Sandrine Ceurstemont, editor, New Scientist TV

Ever wish you could be a bit more like Spider-Man? Thanks to science, it's not impossible.

In this new animation, created by Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown from AsapScience, you can see how a retrovirus could give you unique abilities or make you stronger. It also shows how you could climb walls like a spider and acquire a 'spider-sense' to react more quickly to threats close-by.

If you enjoyed this post, check out our One-Minute Physics series or watch an animation that shows how the Higgs boson could explain secrets of the universe.
